FBC Narragansett has a regular monthly ministry serving at a Christian homeless rescue shelter in Providence called the Providence Rescue Mission (PRM) established in 1999.  A team of men and women travel into Providence on the fourth Wednesday of every month to provide chapel services at 5PM followed by serving the evening meal.   FBC joins with many local churches to support the work at PRM.  This includes work teams scheduled as needed to construct facilities and repair various areas of the PRM building including new dorm rooms, enlarged chapel area and new shower facilities.  FBC also provides support for the PRM Christmas toy store, clothing and  non-perishable food collection and support for PRM women ministries.   All ages from teens to seniors are welcomed to join us in this wonderful work of spreading the gospel and supporting the PRM clients in this area of Providence.   The team leader is Joe Franchina.
