What to Expect: Returning to Church in the time of Covid-19

What can you expect when you return to church?

We will be aligned with the most current guidelines from RI Department of Health and CDC.

Please stay home if you are sick.

There will be a self-screening process when you arrive:

  • Reviewing COVID information/symptoms list.
  • Answering 2 short questions.
  • Your name will be recorded on attendance sheet, to be used only for future contact tracing.

Six (6) foot markings will be placed on the sidewalk, steps, and through the church lobby for you to maintain social distancing.

  • You will be expected to wear a cloth face covering over your nose and mouth at all times. (Exception – during communion)

Hand sanitizer units have been installed in the lobby near the office door for your use, as well as downstairs outside of the bathrooms.

You and your communal family will be seated by a member of our seating team.  Allow this team to arrange a group of chairs to accommodate your family.

Plan to arrive early to allow time for screening and seating.

Communion will consist of a prepared individual bread/cup.

Boxes will be available in the back of the sanctuary for your offerings/tithes.

We will not be able to serve refreshments/coffee at this time.  You may bring your own if you need.

We will dismiss from back to front.
